The Reaper tried and failed again. I ended up in
the hospital for a spell and have been spending a lot of time modifying my
lifestyle to avoid another trip to the damn place. This last time I was in
ICU for a day before being sent to a regular room. (If you call any hospital
room regular.) A change of lifestyle and pace is definitely in order – as per
doctor's orders. A little less time spent on the computer and a little more
time spent hiking and exercising is what I was told to do so that is what I am doing.
Not to worry, I still get up in the middle of the night and write. My goal
now is to have my new book completed by the end of the year so I can send
the whole package off to publishers and see which one is gutsy enough to bring
the words to you.
